I've just joined the forum, first post and about to get my daps on embark on my first run of W5. It's all gone fairly well until now despite the fact that I could hardly run a minute several weeks back. I shall report back later from the oxygen tent! Wish me luck...

Blimey! It was OK, I really didn't feel that I wanted to stop a minute or so before the end, so well chuffed. I'm starting to recover a lot quicker as well, i.e., I could talk as I walked in through the front door! Thanks for the encouragement...
Daps....That takes me back; my mum used to call them that and whenever I said Daps, people looked at me as if I was 'gone out' (another mumism!)
Anyway, well done on reaching week 5, let us know how you get on
Ha! I thought that it was a Cardiff/Welsh thing, but chatting to a friend in Bristol recently she told me that she used it as well. Run went a little better than anticipated thank you, in other words, I made it and didn't want to stop before the end. Recovery is quicker now as well. I feel good for it. Thank you for the support...
