More than half way to my Alzheimer’s Challenge to Run The Year I have now clocked 1025kms, before the end of June. To celebrate I have a new pair of shoes - thank you Brooks.com at a discounted price.
For the retro runners amongst us - the Dad Dancing Classic Playlist will be released as soon as I do my final editing, and I think it has to include Living On A Prayer...
Well done Hidden , it was great catching with you and all your exploits and nice to be able to celebrate with a glass or two of fizz. Good luck for the second half.
Listening to all your tales of running in London, I was thinking that perhaps one day you could take me for a run in the Capital so I could see the sights. I promise I wouldn't talk to you while we were running, and I'd hone my elbows skills just in case they were needed.
Wow, I am in awe of what you’ve accomplished so far! I have the measly goal if 750 km this year and am barely a third the way through. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t run for a couple months. It looks like my training plan has some longer runs coming up so will hopefully still reach my goal. I LOVE your new shoes, they are well earned!
You are amazing and an absolute inspiration Hidden ....I LOVE your Brooks & I will be looking at these as a replacement for my lovely old faithfuls when the time comes, although I can imagine it will be like putting a family pet to sleep getting rid of mine....can’t wait for the Dad dancing, I can feel a running wiggle coming on!
