Many, many people have taken part in the ‘virtual great North run’ me included...I did the GNR solo so had to do 40 runs between the 28th June and 13th Sept...I had a bit of injury half way through with my dodgy knee but still covered just over 100 miles...& that, to me, is something to be proud of....whatever and however you cover your mileage, be proud...you are amazing, you are an inspiration to other that you might not know about...& we are extremely proud of you and glad to be a part of your running life xxx
Happy running everyone....and high five to you all for just getting out there xx

aww, thank you WillsMum68 I really enjoy a challenge...last year my challenge was to do a virtual run every month, which I did and got a medal every time...so by the time it got to April/May and the postman delivered yet another medal everyone in the house just rolled their eyes!!!! 😁😁😁 I am actually training at the moment for a half marathon...not a virtual one or a real one...but I want to run that distance so I'm using a programme at the moment that should hopefully get me there....there I've said it now so I have to do it!!! I'm not sure I have it in my legs for a marathon though!!!!
Awww, thankyou Fabulous450 ...You are a star that inspires me so often...and when I'm not quite feeling it up pops one of your posts and out I go!!! Your LEJOG is going so well too 💪
Thank you grumpyoldgirl ...I like a challenge, they keep me getting out there and I also love hearing about all the ways people are keeping themselves motivated in these difficult times...which seem to be lasting forever...
My knee is much better now, it's so much stronger than it has ever been since I started running but if I go over on my ankle, no matter which leg, my knee always takes the brunt of it...luckily this one didn't last for very long x
Thank you Sandraj39 ...yes, that's another one ticked off!! I was too late to enter the actual HM so well done to your hubby for doing that..I'm doing a programme at the moment to try get my distance up to HM so who knows, I might get there one day?!! x
