Good morning all finished run 2 of week 6 after having a little rest after last weeks leg pinging . Enjoyed the run even though my leg was still a bit tender . Must get some new trainers any recommendations fellow 🙄runners thank you Happy Wednesday 😊

Well done! I’m having a few days off due to sore thigh muscle but hope to run again at the w’end. I went to Runners Need & had a gait analysis & they recommended Brooks trainers. They are so comfy - I’ve had plantar fasciitis in the past so need a good arch support. They were expensive but if you ask them to check prices online they will match lower price. I ended up paying £71 although they had been marked as £115. Definitely worth investing in a decent pair of trainers now you’re a runner 🏃🏻♀️🙂

After week 4 I invested in some proper footwear. With my excess weight and flat feet my Brooks running shoes are a godsend!! Yes, a bit pricey but if they keep the hips and knees in the right place then that’s good enough for me 👟👟
