A run and a swim in a Swedish lake

My partner and I are in week 7, and I am finding I am having to really push myself but it is possible. Just!! Yesterday we ran our 25 mins with him carrying a rucksack with towels (and who would have thought he’d ever be able to do that 7 weeks ago - he feels a little proud of that 😀) and after a the worst run I have had - simply too hot in 27 degrees- but in the most beautiful forest - we frantically ripped our running gear off and jumped into the lake. (Easy now - we wore swimming costumes) I cannot express how amazing the cool forest lake water felt. It was the best running reward ever. I floated around until my legs were ready to work again. It was my first forest run and sadly also the last for a while as I have no forest or forest lake near home. But check me out having bought my trainers for a weekend away!!!!

That's commitment to the plan that is! But you're right, far too hot to run in! Lake looks divine 🙂
