Anyone else heard the one about dark chocolate??

Let me explain! My husband used to be a super-dooper runner (20 minutes for 5k...I kid you not. Hasn't run for a while but getting back into it) Anyway, when I started C25k, he told me to eat two squares of dark chocolate before going. I love dark chocolate but thought it was a rouse to get me more into running. Today, we got some dark chocolate digestives...I had one before my run this evening. I can only say I think it worked! Just wondered if anyone's else had heard of this... Might just be me.

Anything is better with proper McVitie's Dark Chocolate Diggie biscuits.... :-)

Ooh. I like the sound of that! Any excuse to eat dark chocolate- it's good for depression too. Does it go well with evil jelly babies Sallenson?

Never heard of it either but I guess it is fast sugar, like a piece of banana 🍌 which works really well for me before a run :)

One of my fastest runs was after eating a macaroon 😄

Sign me up as Guinea pig! I am more than willing to be a lab rat for this test!

Gonna try it for sure. Maybe if I eat 3 or 4 squares I'll run even better....?
