Running in the dark

Did my first run in the dark las night and really enjoyed it. I also managed to slow down a bit - not sure whether it was because I was looking at the Christmas lights or the moon across the sea or just because - which made the run a lot easier and enjoyable. Now looking forward to my next run in the dark.

Sounds great Jo. It was so clear and such a beautiful moon last night. A pleasure to be out there.

It was lovely, and not as cold as I thought it would be.

Now that I have a really good head torch I actually enjoy going out in the dark(no lights where I am).

Yep, me too. I run at night during the week and late morning at weekends. I prefer it xxx

Take a torch or get a head lamp! I fell over a speed hump ! Oh the irony Ha ha

Scraped knees and bumped cheek. I never saw the darned thing

Running in the dark is a new experience and you do see new sights and I notice how many birds are still twittering in the dead of night

That sounds like me and a sign I run past which says Dead Slow! For cars I think but was very appropriate in the early days. I'm lucky as there are street lights where I run so I can see where I am going.

good for you Jo :) welcome ot the dark side lol
