All things running....feed me more!

Hey guys,

This running bug has got me good and proper and I've developed a hunger for all things running...books, podcasts, magazines...and I want more!

Can anyone recommend any great books? I've just read Running Like a Girl, which I loved, and I'm part way through The Lazy Runner.

I've got Runners World and Women's running magazines. Are there more?

Any blogs / FB groups / Instagram people / websites?

I've listen to the Audible series with Mo Farah and George Lamb on his marathon journey. That was really really good!

Can't seem to find any decent podcasts though.

Does anyone else what to absorb everything like a sponge or is it just me?!

Ooo I listened to Running Like a Girl on Audible. It’s really good isn’t it. I’ll have to have look at the Lazy Runner, is that a novel or no?

Sorry no recommendations, but I’ve took some from you haha

Hey Sandie, Yes Lazy Runner is a novel, it's got loads of tips in it too. If you've got Audible, definitely listen to "Mo-Joe". It's one of their free listens and it's great!

I know what you mean! I’ve been reading loads - have also read Running Like a Girl (fab!) and another one to try.... “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Vassos Alexander (he from the Chris Evans show?)

Think you’d enjoy it.

What is Runners World like? Any other magazines out there?

I’ve subscribed through Facebook and got 3 months very cheap

Yeh its good...not so much aimed at true beginners like me, but it's still an interesting read and I'm sure it'll be more valuable in the future. Not sure if you've heard of Readly, but it's an app that allows you to subscribe to MANY magazines for a monthly cost of 7.99 I think. Check it out...it's absolutely AWESOME!
