Struggling but determined !

I have completed week 6 before I went on hoilday for 1 week. On my first run back I couldn’t face starting week 7 and run for 25minuites so I start week 6 again. I have now completed week 6 . My problem now is that I do feel fitter and I don’t get breathless but the next day after a run my legs hurt and I feel stiffness in legs and lower back.

I am 58 and overweight And I’m concerned that I’m may be doing myself more harm that good.

My only advice would b to make sure you are drinking plenty water and not going top fast. Sorry im only on wk 5 but know my legs r sore next day of I haven't drank enough before my run
