Hi started run 1 week 6 all good got to the last 5 mins had a pain in my calve then I felt a ping like a elastic band snapping . Had to stop was in agony Im 55 when I was 20 I pulled a tendon could it be the old injury playing up any tips on what to do really want to finish the plan thank you 😒

Hoping someone else sees this and can at least reassure you that an injury isn't the end, from their personal experience. We see on here that people come back from injuries all the time. Suspect advice will emphasise not running until healed and also please consult a professional as internet advice certainly has limitations!

When I had a similar ping (different place) a couple of years ago it was my adductor that had come off the bone. Nothing to do but rest until it healed. Took a while but is good as new now. I think you'll have to rest it. Mine felt like a wasp sting very deep I side
