I had an unintentional week off the plan last week. I had a busy week with work and wasn't getting home until late and was too tired to do anything I kept saying I'll go out tomorrow and tomorrow came and went.
I felt really bad about not going doing my runs last week. It didn't help that I wasn't eating healthily either, take-aways and working lunches. Doesn't help you feel great when you don't have a gallbladder!! So in all in a pretty poor week for me last week.
So, this is a new week and I went out this evening determined to start the week right.
To be honest it was easier than I thought it was going to be. I was quite impressed when Laura said I was half way through my 8 minute run. I wasn't feeling too out of breathe and my legs weren't hurting.
The last minute of the last 5 minute run was HARD!! I almost have up and then those sweet words 'slow down to a walk' came through the headphones. I started my cool down walk and watched some sheep having a wander in the field and just reflected about how pretty the area that I live in is.
So, Run 2 will happen on Wednesday and we'll see how I get on.
