W7R3 - done but not a great run 😞

I’ve finished W7 in a not so great way. I ran this morning as it was cooler but felt humid. I ran nice and steady and thought I was going to do well. In 25mins I only ran 3.59k, but my pace was the best ever. Usually manage just over 4K so the distance difference is not a big issue. I have a sneaking suspicion I was running a bit faster than normal and whilst it explains better pace, distance suffered.

Well done Maybe58, I also completed week7, I did post my report at about 14.10 but it does not seem to have appeared here, not sure why.

Try posting again?

I did that one yesterday- struggled with it a bit so well done for getting through it. Onwards to W8. Good luck.

It was strange struggling with it as it wasn’t the first run of 25mins. I don’t know whether to start Week 8 Wednesday or give myself a two day break and start Thursday?

No - I know what you mean I thought it would be easier than it was - maybe that's why. I usually try to approach it with no expectations & a "what will be will be" attitude. Maybe give yourself a two day break & approach it with fresh eyes. Good luck whatever you decide. Keep us posted.

I think you’re right with ‘what will be will be’ approach. I’ll possibly will start Week 8 on Thursday.

I think you’re putting yourself down. You’ve had a weeks holiday and continued to run , further because of the fog and you didn’t know where you were. And it’s hot and humid. It’s not a race as everyone says one step at a time. You’re doing amazing.

I start week 9 tonight. Last run with the girls and then I’m on my own.
