No Fitbit run & a really great one

I did as I said I would & left my Fitbit at home (couldn't find it anyway so just as well) me & First Born headed off & decided to run the river route in reverse. All went well till I checked back & saw her walking - turned around & ran back to her & she had a stitch. Silly thing had not drunk anything before heading out & was probably dehydrated. Got her to do breathing exercises & got rid of the stitch & then made her jog slowly down to a fence where we did stretched (good excuse to give her a break from running but not feel she needed a rest) and off we went again. Ran down to the leisure centre where we had some water & a rest & set off back. Run was wonderful, I had no idea of time, pace or distance and just ran; I even included some short inclines and steps and ran in circles for a while waiting for First Born to catch up. I was feeling so good that I even did some interval running too - whoo hoo! What a change from my fed up mood this morning. Thanks to everyone for your support & encouragement. I am feeling sooo much better now & my mojo for running is back :D :D :D

Fab. It's wonderful to go out sometimes without any expectations. Brings the joy back.

I had forgotten why I was running Irish-John - running without any pressure brought that back home. I could enjoy the scenery & live in the moment - it was fabulous. :)
