*Opens the door tentatively and peeks round * Hello runners... I’m back ... well I did 3 mins interval running as prescribed by the physio😀 Have I got the right room or should I move along to a different one? Well I wanted to say hi and hope this will be the start of my running life again! Happy sunny Sunday everyone 😊

What is the plan for your running from now?

Thanks Jay! It’s an 8 week programme you have to run 4-6 times a week, and it’s very tiny 1min runs /1min walk that increases each time so my next run I will do 4 x 1 min run etc building up to eventually a 30 min run. If you have pain above a 4/10 you have to go back a day. It’s kind of like runners snakes and ladders 🤣

Thank you Bluebird, it’s not quite week 3 but I’ll take anything at this point! I was quite scared just doing a minute. Need to build up my confidence again . But still good to be back 😁

Welcome back! It is so good to be running again after the IC isn’t it? Go gently. ( I too am building up again- redoing C25K- after illness). 😄

Thanks Elfe5, good luck to you too. What are you aiming for ? I am just focusing on getting back to running for 30 mins and want to do a park run.

That sounds very similar to me- 30 mins and Parkrun are also on my agenda. I started W5 yesterday, so the continuous running is not far off. I’m really slow, but not worrying about that at all. 😄
