Well, I set off on WK5R1 today full of trepidation for this run. I am a somewhat upper middle age chap who looks very like a couch potato, I took my mind off things by talking to the peas in someone’s field telling them they are doing well, and then by scaring the sheep running by someone else’s field. After a while I found myself on the third five minute run putting a spurt in for the last thirty seconds to reach a chosen lamppost! It felt great. What wizardry is this running programme that it can get this large lump to enjoy running again after forty years on the settee. Anyone struggling a bit in the early weeks, keep going, you will get there, and somewhere along the way, the magic will just start to happen.
