I love the summer and the sunnier the better for me. However, I’ve come to realise that I prefer running in the cooler months.
Went out for a 6k run this morning at 7.45 but it was already hitting 17 so a bit too warm. I’m not sure how these people who live in the sunny climates manage. I guess you adapt.
Anyway, a great way to start a Sunday morning. Still loving to run after graduating in November. Definitely feeling the benefits of being leaner and fitter.
Time to wake the teenagers up now for a fun packed day 👍

I couldn't agree more!! I just graduated last week and currently on our hols in 30 degree heat! A bit paranoid about losing fitness so we have our trainers with us and so far we have managed a 20 minute early morning run, but did sweat buckets but proud at we can do it. Swimming only today, then planning on another early one tomorrow. Definitely got the bug!
I love running in the early morning! Try a bit earlier, it's cooler. I went out at 6.30 this morning, it was cool and fresh. Mind you it was a struggle to make myself get out there 🙃.
Yes, when I started in Sept I always went at 5.30 so I could run in the dark and nobody could see me 😂 These days I still choose to run earlier as the air is fresher and the streets are quieter and I can run without a care in the world 🙋🏼
