It’s been almost a week since w5r2 as we’ve had the lurgy in our house making everyone feel yuck but now I’m ready to go again but think maybe I should start at beginning of week 5 again? Or should I just go for the big one? Help?!

Go do it. You are no less fit than a week ago.

Go for the big one. Take it slow and you will be fine.

See how it goes. Running is never an 'either/or" thing really - a couple of months after graduation and well on my way to the 10K mark there was one morning when I ran out of steam for some unknown reason after less than ONE k. :)

We are humans, not machines - and specifications vary even from machine to machine :) My advice is - don't let the mental 'should I/can I/what if I?" about W5RWhatever or ANY week now or in the future get in the way of enjoying your run :)

As you've got this far - you certainly can work up to 5K and most likely beyond, just do what is always urged but also so very hard for new people to do (including me back then :) ) - take it slow and steady :)

Wishing you all the happy miles that await you in your future :)

Just go for it.

It takes two weeks before you will begin to notice significant drop in condition.

Pick up where you left off.
