Bit of advice please

Morning all, hope Christmas was good and you are all recovering....and still running! I was chuffed to do W8R1 on Christmas Day!!! I felt I'd rather earned my turkey!!

I won't be able to run next week, so I was just wondering what I should do when I start again the following week. Should I do Week 8 again, or will I be able to just do Week 9, given that it's only an extra 2 mins each run?

Thank you everyone for all your lovely advice and encouragement. And a Happy New Year to you all.

A very happy New year to you Pegix, well done on almost completing C25K with week 8, no need to repeat that week, onwards and upwards to week 9, good luck for your graduation run, only if you have been off running for more than two weeks you would need to repeat week 8.

Brilliant, thanks.

Sometimes a rest can help your running. A week off will do no harm at all. You can go into week 9 with confidence. There is something magical about running on Christmas morning; it is now part of my tradition.

I would agree with previous advice , On to week 9 (assuming you have now done week 8 runs 2 and 3?)

You won't really loose much fitness in the first 2 weeks and then it would be gradual.
