Wednesday I have the two youngest grandkids, today has been emotional for the four old, starting with an escaping McD balloon and kind if went down hill from there ππ I love them dearly but was not sorry to take them home π€£
I had my gear on ready and went straight out for my week2 run, was lovely, no whinging, no tears ... a few weeks back I would never have thought a solo run in the rain could be a welcome wind down.
No-one else on the trail, a slight drizzle but it was still warm and muggy, even my glasses steamed up π 28 minutes still not easy but run done, got home and the Mister has made tea. Calm and peace restored.

They each have their own special day to come to ours and it's usually fun, but today π« don't know whether it's the weather, the lunar cycle or half term craziness but everything went wrong for her today - even dropped a big jar on her foot poor thing.
Awe poor wee soul ..Hope it's a better visit next time for her and you ...Your doing fabulous with your runs ..Defo a virtual party when you get to the podium good luck ππ
Poor chap(ess). A lost balloon is a terrible thing!
I still remember (in my sepia 60's childhood when such things were precious and rare), waking up to find the helium balloon from the fair, that was chirpily on the ceiling when I went to bed was sadly hovering half way down the room the next morning. Devastating
Anyway a good run and, after a day like that, as they say SendWine
Well done week 8 run 2! I remember losing a ballon out of the car window about 50 years ago (gosh it must have traumatised me if I can still remember it) and my mum having to stop the car and go try to find it .... I bet she wished she could have put her running shoes on to get away from me crying in the back of the car π€£π€£π€£π€£
