Wk9 Run2 after Sunday roast!

I usually run on a pretty empty stomach & have found that works for me. Today we went out for Sunday lunch & I waited 2 hours after we got home before heading out & it was actually really good! Anyone got any tips on whether it's best to run on an empty stomach or a full one (after waiting a bit, obvs!)?

I’ve read that it burns fat if you run in a fasting state, how true that is...??

One more run, go girl 🏃‍♀️👩‍🎓

My husband reckons men run better on empty & women need to eat first but he has no idea where he got that from! 😂 I know, I can't believe it - just my graduation run to go, just a shame it'll have to be in the dark as I'm working all week 😳

I’ve not quite worked this out yet. Sometimes I’ll eat and it will weigh me down, other times it gives me a bit more energy! I def need something though

I can't run on empty, but need to leave an hour for food to go down. I'm not sure about the fat-burning thing. I think it might depend on your body fat percentage; I've got a feeling if it's lower to start with, running hungry might start burning your muscle tissue but I may have misremembered.

One to two hours after a meal is good. You’re sustained to get you through the Run

It makes you feel better to run your dinner off

I can never run on empty 🙂
