All hail, you lovely people. Not just a fluke I really can run for 30minutes. This first post grad run was tough though.
I was determined to keep running outside so checked out the resort where we’re staying and thought I’d found a pretty decent route. Turns out it was only 1K so ended up doing four and a bit circuits largely over cobblestones and to cap it all, my downloaded playlist cut out half way round and I was slower than usual.
I’m going to give myself a couple of days rest and probably head to the treadmill in the gym for my next two consolidation runs.
Do t get me wrong. It’s gorgeous here in sunny Portugal but I’m already missing my usual routes. 🏃♀️🏃♀️

Well done, I love tourist runs. Using walkjogrun.com or mapmy run will let you plot a route and will work out the distance for you. I prefer that as I hate running laps.
But you’re a real runner if you’re taking your kit on holiday. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I hear you! I’m on Kefalonia. Not complaining but I also miss my regular routes back home. I did W8 R1 this morning- up at silly o’clock to avoid the heat. I do maybe a third of the run on the beach, it’s either that or head up to the hills (not going to happen, ever). Enjoy your hols and let’s keep running
Thank you ElleKay and well done, if you’re coping with week8 the Adrenalin will keep you going though week9, hope you’re having a great holiday too
Razouski suggested two sites for running away from home. Mapmyrun.com and walkjogrun.com. I still haven’t looked so I’m either back to laps, which are very hilly in places or the treadmill. Bit reluctant about the treadmill as all my runs have been outdoors. 😊😊😊🏃♀️
