Well what a run today. This run certainly pushed me. I don't know if it's because as you start getting in to it, you have to stop and walk but today's run was actually harder for me than W5R3.
I gave Michael a peace of my mind at the beginning of the last 5 minute run when he told me that this should be simple now. My words aren't very suitable to repeat on here.
I cursed my way through it but I did it and that's all that matters I guess. Don't know if it's because I didn't get to drink much water yesterday or the humidity right now but I think I can safely say that today's run was the hardest to date.
Anyway... won't dwell on that any longer. Moving on to run 2 on Monday as back to a long weekend at work and the dreaded nightshifts.
Enjoy your Bank Holiday weekend everyone and happy running!

Well done for getting through it! I think a lot of people found that one tough - I know I did. I've just completed W6R3 this morning and have to say I found that one easier than R1&2 - so there is light at the end of the tunnel! Good luck.
I found it hard too, maybe because it was such an achievement running the 20 mins in week 5 i felt it would be easier and it wasn’t. Still I had a gin and tonic when I came back and soon felt better. 😁
Good luck with your run hun. After doing the 20 minute run on W5r3, you'd think that W6R1 would be a breeze but alot of ppl including myself found it harder. I guess it's building up our stamina for the longer runs to come.
