Play time is over . . . .

With W6R2 out of the way, it's full steam ahead into the main event, the non-stop runs.

Getting this far has been a challenge and hard work. It has involved lots of sweating and lots of heavy breathing (not in a weird way). If, like me, you have made it this far, give yourself a HUGE pat on the back because now the serious stuff starts.

W6R3 is a 25 minute non-stop run and even with all the work put in so far, I still find it hard to believe I am in the position to think about doing it. More surprisingly, I am actually quite looking forward to it. I think it's because, and this might sound a bit selfish, it's all about me. Me pushing me that little bit harder, that little bit faster each time.

I really am enjoying the C25k program, but now . . . play time is over.

On the contrary, there are no intervals breaks within runs when your muscles seize up! You’ve got this. You’ll be fine. I found the runs from this week on relatively ok. Hard but once you can do the 25, IMO, you can do 30+ 👌🏽

Just done the 25 minutes run, it was a good jog, good luck to you.

Than you Bob. Glad you enjoyed the 25 minute run. I hope I'm not being too arrogant, but I am not as worried about the 25 minutes as I was about the 20 minutes . . . . strange, but true!

I’ve got this one to look forward to on Saturday, hope it goes as well as yours! Well done by the way 😁

You'll like this one deezys. I thought is was easier than W6R1 (too many intervals). Enjoy!

My hero!!

And true. Out of the foothills and into the big stuff I guess. And with you all the way on the underlying point. "This is about making you the best you that you possibly can be." It's gone way beyond a bit of PE and running around at this point.

If I was the NHS I'd be offering this for free. Oh, hang on, they are. Bloody amazing!!

I wish I had discovered the program years ago. May well have prevented a few problems. Also have to say, the support from the forum is pretty bloody amazing too!

Seems to me (with a little experience) that this trumps anti-depressants in a whole set of instances. And I know a few people who are doing this but don't go anywhere near the forum. I'd be dead in the water without you guys.

This is a great run. You’ll love it. Remember how you felt at the end of W5? It’s like that but more so. Do this and you know W7 is achievable.

Enjoy smashing it.

Ask me six weeks ago Jay if I fancied a 25 minute run and I would told you cars were invented so we didn't have to run. Six weeks on and now I agree with you 100%.

Brilliant work! All the comments and your own feelings are true (from my first time out).

You can absolutely do this! In fact it’s in the bag already!

These forums are great, wether you’re a lurker or active poster, the advice & banter on these posts keeps you going and helps you realise that everyone has the same doubts and crisis of confidence. I know of a couple of people who have or have had mental health issues, who now run and either have no issues or they are greatly helped by running and run marathons etc now.

Well done that man 💪👏👏 - I’m now a week behind, but I’ll be hot your heals
