I'm off work this week so can enjoy daylight runs at my leisure. Have upped them to 5k rather than 30mins because of this.
Today I shook things up a bit by doing my usual route in my local park, the other way round. I didn't like it. It felt too different.
I also felt like I'd had more of a bad run. Had to break back into a walk a couple of times as I felt pretty breathless at times.
Eventually I settled more into a rythm and managed to plod round until I heard the 5k prompt.
Afterwards, I was amazed to see my best time yet.
5k in 33 mins!
So far managed to shave a whole 5 mins off my original 5k time!
Now it's coming into focus. I can see my 5k 30 min goal way off.
Well chuffed. Hopefully I can get it nailed before Christmas!
