Shouting at my legs...

W5R3 done. 20 mins non stop! Can't believe it. I admit I did slow to a little walk three times for about 10 secs and at one point it prob looked like I was jogging on the spot, I was going so slow but I'm chuffed with that. My legs not so much so. "What the eff are you doing" they kept saying! "This is hard work! Stop it this instant you mad woman" they said! At one point I actually shouted out 'Shut up. Come on" to them, not realising someone was behind me. Oops ๐Ÿ˜ฏ. I couldn't have got this far without you guys. From nearly dying in W1 to 20 mins! Feeling a bit weepy now. Ty all x

Well done, you! You might have looked like a schizoid madwoman to others but you really did great ;-) If your legs find it hard, perhaps try the NHS flex and stretch exercices on rest days if you haven't tried yet. Or any other activities like swimming gently. Aquafitness is really nice because it is gentle on your joints even if you are doing cardio. And you can also get an extra-rest day after the long runs... Enjoy Week 6!!

Yes did that run yesterday and there was a point at about 10 mins when I think I was running on the spot๐Ÿ˜†. I went a different way and suddenly it was a bit up hill. I was talking to myself and just trying to think of anything else but running. So pleased you did it. Well done!!

Lovely! And your post made me laugh! I still have conversations like that with my legs, but I win the argument every time.๐Ÿ˜€

Congratulations on a good run. Onwards and upwards- you ARE doing this. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ
