Sorted, run 2 wasn't great but I'm outside now, managing my own pace- the treadmill was a faster pace but became boring by w6. Run3 this morning was good, with the dog, so an impromptu stops at field gates and at the river for 2 minutes before a long gentle up hill back home. I can't believe that our next run is week8. Amazing

Was off to a good start, then hit R2... Exhausted but was running ahead of the other half, not because he was more exhausted or I was managing better, but through sheer determination to get the run done. Even though it's timed and it doesn't matter how far we get, my feet still believed the faster they went the quicker it would be over- idiots! It was no sooner over than I was looking forward to the next. It's just mad. Even bad runs don't dim the spirit. We also matched our fastest pace p/km (6.12), just how!? Legs feeling heavy today and postponed R3 to Saturday as we've a birthday party tomorrow. The extra day will do us good. OH was ready too give it up yesterday, but back on track a few hours later, once it was a distant memory. Not sure we'll get 5K in 30 by graduation but perhaps more realistically 32/34 is a good aim. Got 4km in 26, so maybe!

Hi Shaz,

Very well done!

I am planning to start week 7 today, so I've dropped back a week.

How does it feel knowing there's less than a fortnight and six little runs left...?
