Running on blisters?

A pair of work shoes have given me a blister on the bottom of my heel. Not caused by running then, but what's best way to protect it on my next run on Thursday? Want to still keep on running!

There are actual blister plasters which have worked really well for me. The ones I tried formed a white gel over the blister (it had been burst, cleaned, disinfected and dried) The plaster protected and cushioned the plaster and stayed on for days till it was completely healed.

They are quite expensive though .... £3-4 for 5 plasters I think but they have done a job for me before.

I use those blister plasters too. They are good, and you can leave them on for two or three days, which makes them relatively less expensive.

I got really bad blisters in my trainers to start with, but kept on running, and with the help of plasters they eventually went away!

oooh, painfull. dont envy you at all. I got a blister on the ball of my foot last summer after rushing to pick up little one from school in stupid flipflops. I had a hen night/80s disco to go to the following night & used those see-through silicon spongy shoe insert things that scholl sell. party feet I think they were called. Im sure they also do this sort of thing called a heel insert aswell. also there is a suede type fabric that you can buy that helps to cushion the foot, also sold with the foot stuff. good luck. hope it heals sooon. x
