Today was the first time I really struggled! That extra 2 mins, seemed to go on forever!!!! I am still struggling with distance. Only managing to complete just under 4k in 30 mins. I hope I can eventually get to run 5k in 30 mins! Wish me luck!

Don’t worry about the distance just go at a gentle pace for the next 2 runs. You can consolidate over the next 3 weeks which is when you can get stronger and increase your pace. Graduation is getting close. 👍

5k in 30 mins is not a requirement of graduation and most graduates do not achieve this at graduation.

You are doing great, so just keep it nice and easy and pace will pick up in time.

It’s about running for 30 minutes, don’t worry about distance, just keep going slow and steady. Only 2 more runs until you graduate. 😀

I had the same experience in wk 9 just so strange that 2 mins could make a difference. My graduation run was the toughest of the lot and l admit l felt a bit cheated - surely l must be fit now! Then 2 weeks post grad 30 minutes is so enjoyable, its hard to know why at the time -ebs and flows l guess but you are so close and then you’ve got a world of future running to come - how fab is that , good luck!
