5 days ago I did it week 5 run 3 - ran for 20mins.

Today I couldn’t run for 5 mins... I dont understand. Is it because I had a gap?

Don’t beat yourself up. This place is littered with stories of flying through w5 and tripping up on w6r1. Just put it behind you. take a rest day or two. Get lots of water down you tomorrow and go again when you’re feeling fresh. Good luck!

THANKYOU. That’s really sound advice and has helped a lot.

Hope your journey is going well :)

Ditto what everyone else has said. I was on such a high after W5R3 - luckily i heeded the warnings re W6R1 but still struggled with it & R2. Due to do R3 on Friday. I’ve been having 4 day breaks in between- purely down to circumstances but seem to be OK. You’ll get through it - honestly- it’s more a mental block than anything else. Just remember that everything you’ve done up to now has prepared you for this run. Chalk it up to experience & give it another go when u feel recovered- you’ll absolutely smash it - i promise. Good luck & keep us posted.

You don't lose condition for about two weeks.

W6R1 is a tricky run that catches many out and I spend many hours warning people about it.

Start slow and you will be fine.

One twenty minute run does not a runner make..........
