Other supermarkets are available. Fitness mat £6.99. Foam rollers (different designs) £5.99. 3kg or 5kg soft coated dumbbells £9.99. Fairly technical “fitness socks” £2.99. Various tops and bottoms for men and women all around £6-7.

Get in there fast friends or Jay will buy it all up and flog it on eBay at inflated prices :-)

Oooo thanks for the info. I'll be shopping in Aldi tomorrow morning - will check out what they've got. If I can get it in the trolley without my boyfriend noticing I won't have to pay for it either 😉

Clue: he’ll notice an exercise mat!

The socks look really good (as in “supportive”, not “fashionable”).

Haha - you don't know him! 😂

Been well impressed with the food since I started shopping in there so look forward to seeing what they've got x

Good call, I got the foam roller and a set of 3kg dumbbells. They’re great, been doing some reps while watching TV with them. I looked at the socks, they look pretty good and comparable to the Nike ones I got but just bought some new Karrimor ones so maybe when they’re Aldi special buy again. (The last active one was Jan/Feb I believe)

I rather foolishly did the man thing and bought the man-weight ones. Bloomin heavy!

The more lifting and heavier they are help you to tone up better, save you to buy a heavier set later on. 😁

Excellent point, very well made. And clearly what I had intended...

Can you stick around and justify everything I do in future?

I’m very good at finding excuses for myself, I’m sure I can spare a few for you! 😆
