I runnon treadmill - and it is amazing to see how quickly my aerobic fitness has improved. Resting heart rate and recovering heart rate etc. This programme definitely works and that’s what keeps me going- you are in good hands with C25K!
You’re in the right place then. Welcome. Lace those shoes up and get yourself started. Sip lots of water daily, run slow and you’ll be fine.

Welcome. You really will improve your fitness, too.
I can feel the results across all aspects of life, not just in running. My breathing has vastly improved when I ride my bike. Stairs are easier. I'm walking faster on my morning walks.
That's the best part of it for me, the across the board improvements.

Take it slow and take it steady... rest days are essential...try to out in some strength and stamina exercise too, on some rest days... non impact. It will help your fitness levels.
Keep posting too for great support and encouragement...
Hi Anne - the programme really works. Follow it to the letter and learn to run slowly and you’ll be amazed at how your stamina builds week after week. Then before you know it you’re running 30 mins!
You can change in ways you never imagined were possible. This programme is fantastic. Brilliant too as we only need go very slowly! Improving week on week til graduation. Then after that that 🤷♀️ Lots to do 😁👍😃
