I'm confusing myself looking at fitness trackers. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I use Strava to track my runs.

If you want a wrist-worn activity tracker, then get something from FitBit.

If you want a running watch, perhaps with optical heart-rate monitor, then get something from Garmin.

If you want a smart watch, then buy the watch that goes with your smart phone - Apple Watch if you have an iPhone, something else if you have an Android phone.

If you simply want to count your daily steps, then get a £5 pedometer.

If you're not sure (or don't want to spend any money), then use the inbuilt Fitness app in your smartphone until you know more about what you want.

Strava is good to track runs to begin with - and it’s free so winning. But you have to start tracking and stopping yourself but I love it.

Get a Fitbit to monitor all activity (daily steps, sleep patterns, auto recognises activity). You can get the flex 2 for around £40 now (Amazon/Argos) but anything else and you’re looking around £100.

MarkyD s recommendations are pretty much spot on ;)

Good luck!
