Well as promised my final C25K report. The plan this morning was to get out there early before it warms up and prove to my self I can run. I have been using an old railway track that has been turned into walking cycling running etc trail. The Distance on signposts is 3 miles or 4.6 kms. My challenge as well as running 30 minutes was to run from the start to the end. Those pesky gremlins tried to set me back telling me I was tired and legs wouldn't make it today, did I let them stop me! NO never! I haven't given in to walking on any run since the start of this journey ( I walked when told to by the very calm Laura of course) I have found on the longer runs after 10 minutes I settle down and get past the wobble stage and I enjoy it. I was determined to get to the end when laura said that's it you can slow down now, but I could see the finishing line (White post) so ran for an extra 2 minutes to tap the post. If anyone was watching me they would have thought me mad, arms waving cheering hurrah smiling like a Cheshire cat.

Had a lovely 3 mile brisk walk back to the start to reflect on my journey. My app on my phone has recorded 5.29km in 31:43 mins. I know that seems a bit longer than the conversion. I am aware now that aphone gps is not as accurate as those fancy watches. I may even go out on my bike Sunday and measure the distance on my bike computer. But I finished from end to end and didn't give in, going to run 3 times a week for a while maybe doing a longer run to increase distance. have a race for life 5K in july along Southsea seafront to keep me motivated, then I will think about training for a 10 K if I stay injury free. Thanks for all the support you have all given me, my smile is still wide.X

Thanks Aliboo 70, hope you have a good day at work, thought I would join the Parkrun when it gets back to medina after the festival, have registered and got my barcode. Didn't feel quite ready for Los Altos Parkrun, ime guessing its a bit hillier.Lolxx
