After debating whether to run or not today, I decided to head out just after 9pm. My last evening run felt really tough but it was such a beautiful evening here so I decided to go for it. I took it nice and steady and really surprised myself that I managed the first 8 minutes no problem. I was glad to walk for the next 5 minutes because the next section was uphill! Was well recovered by the next run and dare I say, I actually enjoyed it! I'm finding podcasts work well for me - enjoying Desert Island Discs at the minute 🌴. From stopping before 1 minute was up in the first week, can't believe how I have progressed. As others have said, the programme really does work! 🏃👟👍

Well done! I’ve just finished week 4 final run and concerned (but s bit excited too!) to see what week 5 has in store - I cannot believe I will be OK as it seems to be getting serious, but am curious to know if I can, so actually can’t wait - ifs almost like it’s happening to someone else, not me! With my new arm case for my iPhone and my Bluetooth headset for a ‘running playlist’ I feel like a real runner!!

I also ran wk5 r#2 yesterday. My legs were tired from a spin class the day before, but I managed it. You sound as though you sailed through it, good for you!
Our next run is 20 minutes no stopping. good luck.
