My calves seem to catch fire from the get go! Always been my barrier to running..I do have what my sister refers to as the family legs๐Ÿ˜‚ ..i.e quite chunky calf muscles..maybe that's the cause?..anyway I have found slowing down to a frustratingly low pace helps me through..so that may be what you need to do for your truoblesome shins till they know who's boss!! Keep going !

Really well done!

I just did W2R2, weโ€™re doing great, we just need to keep at it.

Definitely. W2 harder or do u find it the same?

Itโ€™s easier in some ways. I found the hardest thing about week one was actually having to slow down and walk, as though getting going again was harder than just, well, going!

Week 2 is better in that respect, as you only do six repetitions. They are longer and so my knees have taken a bit of a battering, but on average Iโ€™d say Iโ€™m actually enjoying it more!

I suffer with the shin burn too, I find slowing down my run but completing the time better than speed
