After a properly pants couple of weeks, I set my alarm again. Can’t say I leaped out of bed, but eventually crawled out and peeped out of the window. Hmm, no snow, rain, wind, frost? So, no excuses and the dog, now much better, and I headed off on W5.
I did a snail’s pace, if a snail had creaky joints and half a bottle of Pinot noir inside it.
I’ve missed you guys so much. I read all the posts in that horrible weather and so many of you crazy runners braved it 👏👏👏. Total admiration. So good to be posting again. Happy Friday 😊

Well done ... slow snail.... that is a perfect thing to be.... snails rock , and as the founder member of the Slow and Steady Snail Society... I can assure you, snail pace will get you to the most amazing places!
Sounds like a great run!! Well done you!
PS
Great hydration every day... ( water) and more if you have had grape juice
Good to see your post too, glad you ran and shared as well it’s what keeps a lot of us running, other peoples experiences
Well done for getting out there. I took today’s run at a snail pace too, must be the day for it. Couldn’t have gone any faster if I’d tried or if there’d been a tempting glass of Pinot Noir waiting for me at the finish line. ....😊
