W7 Runs 1&2

Well completed the above runs while away having an extended bank holiday weekend.

R1 was through the forest park at the camping site and was more like trail running, with a number of hills, yuck did not enjoy those.

R2 took a different route down to the sea and although had a considerable amount of down hill I have different muscles making a bit of a noise at the moment so was definitely not easier.

I actually found I had to really slog it out with these two runs so hoping tomorrow's R3 might be a little more enjoyable as I head in to W8. Wow all going well only two weeks left on the programme, still struggling to believe it!

Hope everyone is having a good week, happy running :)

Thanks Rana, I read your post, well done a bit of a sprinter!! :) Honestly I had nothing left and although the head and heart wanted to up the pace for 60 secs the body said NO. Hey good luck tomorrow, you'll be great. :)

Well done. I’ve not found these easy. R2 early this morning and my legs are still killing me. Good luck with R3!

Thanks Jay. It is a little reassuring to know it's not just me, my left leg is giving me a bit of grief today and I ran yesterday. Hope it settles for tomorrow. I really would like to nail this last run with a bit left over. :)

If it’s still sore tomorrow, perhaps leave it another day? Don’t injure yourself this far in. I am certainly struggling doing these with only a day between and may well delay R3 to Saturday as a result. Will see how late I end up at an evening meeting at work tomorrow and how well I sleep... Good luck with yours.

Meant to say - I found pumping through my arms more when my legs felt tired helped a lot to drive me forward.
