After finishing week 2 I noticed a lot of pain in my ankle but have been trying to push through it and ignore it. This weekend iv been in so much pain and realised today iv sprained my ankle. I’m so gutted as I was supposed to start week 4 today and don’t no how long it’s gonna be till I can get back on the treadmill. Guess I will have to just rest it but feeling frustrated. :(

I’ve had the same. I’m on week 6 and are going to have to give it a rest for a week. Do some ankle strengthening exercises. It helps

Hi

After W2 I had pain at back of ankle and realised it was my Achilless tendon. I have continued but now do ankle stretches before and after. As haven't exercised for years it's no surprise but shame the programme doesn't say to do this as part of the warm up. Or maybe everyone knew and I was naive. I only did the 5 mins warm up walk. No stretches and now I'm paying the price!

I’ve done nothing before or after each run except the walk. I’ve clearly been lucky. (Correction. This week I started to do some calf stretches after running as my calves do get tight.)
