This really has been a long week, 8 or 9 days to complete week 6, but I completed it this morning. I honestly can put my hand on my heart and say I may have not gone out this week at all to run if it wasn't for the people on this forum. I have learnt a valuable lesson, however difficult life gets and the problems that crop up on our way, make time for yourself and run. If you love running that is ..lol and I have learnt that I really do. It is far too easy to take the easy option and stop something because things get difficult. Now its time to go and feed these beautiful girls, not sure what they think of my new running leggings, they are giving me a funny look.

The Longest Week but Wk6 done
Congratulations, you did it! You're on the home stretch now. Well done, so inspiring.
Im looking forward to building the stamina now, I hate hills! and we have too many of them
I have yet to find a hill 😊I am the lucky one 😉👍🏻
What an inspirational and honest post ❤ Have just read your post from 3 days ago Jullaly , sending you virtual hugs and a huge pat on the back for cracking on with this; it can't have been easy 😊 You're doing great 👊
Well done. Not long to go till graduation 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️👍
Ah, well done you. I've just read your post about your lovely friend. She would be very proud of you. It's great that you are keeping up the running but make sure you take care of yourself emotionally too. The time you have to yourself while out running will be good for you though.
Very well done. You are amazing.💫🏃♀️💫
Your hills have no chance and they are going to reward you unbelievably with your future running choices.
Keep smiling.💫🏃♀️💫
Bless you. The others are right - your friend would be proud of you. I always like to think that when people close to us die they can still see us and are smiling about our antics - hope that doesn't sound too creepy! Don't want to give you nightmares on top of everything else! 😂. You've done brilliantly in the face of such adversity. Keep going now - you really are on the home stretch and a real inspiration. X
Thank you .. lol its not creepy, she would be the one to give me a kick and tell me to get on it. Thanks for your help and support, it really has been appreciated. As I said somewhere the old me might have just given up because everything felt too hard but not anymore
Good for you! I think running does that for you - it's certainly built my confidence- I had virtually zero confidence before all this - now I'm starting to believe in myself a bit more. Onward & upward! X
They're cheering you on! Just in a sheep way. We're all over the moon for you!!
Well done to you. I agree that when you’re most down or most stressed, running is the hardest thing to motivate yourself to do, but the best possible medicine. You’ve had a tough week but you still managed to run and now the end is in sight! You’ll have to start thinking about post graduation plans soon!
Well done. Looking forward to seeing you graduate.
Well done. Another week on the bag! We’re all in this together ...
So glad you’re keeping on going. The sheep and human girls are very proud of you! To paraphrase Dory...#just keep running 👍👍👍
Harsh critics, sheep. They tell it as it is. You only have to watch ‘Babe’ to understand how withering their one liners can be. Still - what do they know about chafing and the benefits of Lycra? To hell with their facial expressions (Really? You’re actually going out dressed like that???) - pat yourself on the back, take a deep breath and keep putting one foot in front of the other. Well done old bean.
lol ..you know my girls too well, they will be running when we move them onto different fields this afternoon ..see how they like it lol
PS hope you are not still glued to the IC and that you will be back out there soon
Absolutely still glued - 2nd laser treatment tomorrow and final one on Thursday- then fingers crossed I can get out again slowly at the weekend. It’s so frustrating reading about everyone else running but not being able to do it myself. Starting Pilates tomorrow to work on some core stuff in the meantime. Hope your girls are loving the weather.
Woohoo week 7!! Glad to hear you've stuck with it, keep it up!
"This is hard and I'm doing it anyway" and "I want to see what happens if I don't give up" are my two mantras right now! I'm also heading into week 7 and wowzers... only 9 runs left until graduation!!
I am pleased to read you completed week 6. Ìts sad to hear of your news. I love reading your posts, you are a very inspiring lady. Not long left now x
Well done you! 25 minutes without stopping and with hills! I bet your girls love the leggings.
People may think I'm mad but i do talk to the animals most of the time lol
Make sense 👍🏻Animals are not fickle 😘 and don't hurt our feelings
Well done you!
Just read this and has inspired me to get out and do my run (in a minute tho) lol
lol its like the ironing ..always in a minute Hope you managed to get out there
No I didn't! Feeling stupid as wore new pumps out today for a walk and now have horrendous heel blisters. Should of known better at my age! lol Now feel frustrated as my running schedule is 'out of the window' but hope to see how things are tomorrow maybe.
Very well done for getting up and out there again. Difficult time but you should be proud that you did it ! Xx
Well done on keeping going during a very tough week. I’m a few runs behind you and hearing about your runs helps convince me that they are achievable 🙂
Hats off to you! She would be so very proud and pleased for you. My running was also inspired by the loss of a dear friend last October. I’m rooting for you and love to see your posts pop into my inbox!! 🤗
Well said and so true. Sometimes taking time out from our own business and just doing something for ourselves gives you a better perspective and helps you to carry on.
I love your posts and your pics, gladdens the heart!
Keep 🏃♀️running.
I’m week 7 run 2, so just a couple ahead. X😘
The podium awaits young lady, well done 🤗
Thank you, I have so much to thank C25K and all on here for, I feel so much healthier and ..younger lol
It’s addictive isn’t it? I can’t imagine life without running now 😊
