The question is, do I get up early and go out before the day warms up or do I go out tomorrow evening?? This evening is so beautiful I actually wish it was run day today ๐

Whenever you like to run, I like running in the morning but yesterday (Saturday 5 May) I did week 3 round 2 in the afternoon around a reservoir about 15 miles from where I live, I took a train ride to that reservoir.
So I started my run/walk at 2.05pm and finished at 2.20pm, it went very well indeed, there were walkers well in front of me at the start and when I finished, these same walkers were well behind me, looking forward to R3 run 3 on Monday.
Today, my 'rest' day, before breakfast I did a little yoga and a 2-minute workout on my kettlebells. After lunch, I went a 1-hour cycle ride in the countryside near to where I live.
I ran this morning and it was perfect conditions, not too warm in the sun and not too cold in the shade. I also like knowing that my exercise is over for the day!
Managed to avoid the extra protein lol but it was tough this morning!! โน๏ธ It was my first morning run, I usually run after work, and boy I struggled! R1 I found really comfortable and felt like I couldโve run further, but today? I only just made it to the end ๐ค
Iโm on holiday tomorrow so will join you. Iโm also doing W3R2 I usually run after work so will be a change. stupid question but should you eat before you run in the morning?
Personal preference, but I find leaving an hour or so after my cornflakes makes for a more comfortable run. Sometimes though I run without eating, just a cuppa- I tend to go a bit faster ๐
Difference between cycling and running, I am new to running and give it at least 1 hour after I eat breakfast or lunch, but when I cycled I went straight out on my bicycle and did a 30-mile cycle run after a meal without any problems whatsoever.
I run in the mornings on a big gulp of water with a banana and more water after. For W6R3 I had a banana moments before going out the door. No ill effects.
I found run 1 no problem but the second 3 min run today was a toughie...Iโm hoping itโs just because I had a late night last night! Well done for conquering it ๐ช๐ผ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐
We run at around 06:20 in the morning. It is cool and less bugs with the added bonus that at Stanwick Lakes, quite a few other runners there. It is so beautiful with mist over the lakes, just like it was this morning.. Love it.
So I went out at 9am (a little later than planned!) and found it really tough!!! โน๏ธ. R1 I found quite comfortable but today I found it much harder. It I did it though so I canโt be too upset!
