W3 R2 Addict?!

Went to go to the gym last night to do our R2 this week (our R1 each week is with a group in a park). Hubby said 'why don't we just do it here?' I told him he was a lunatic but off we went anyway!

Two elephant shaped tortoises shuffling along a nearby cul-de-sac looping around to avoid hills - goodness knows what anyone else thought!

Actually - who cares?! lol! My thought was they can name call - its not the first time.... and if they wanted to beat me up then I'd awake in hospital which is warmer than I was outside to start with! hahaha!

Can't believe I have ran on my local streets! :-O

Run was great too!

Problem I am starting to have though is I am far too much looking forward to the next run! It feels abnormal to me to want to go out and run! Going to do alternate days though for now - safety first! Does this make me a proper jogger now I have had the urge to go out randomly popping into my head?! :-)

Well done, you two! If you're looking forward to it, you're in big trouble lol! Very soon, you'll be spending your time looking for running outfits on the Internet ;-)

And when you are not, you'll be running! Enjoy the next runs and don't forget te flex and stretch exercises on rest days to feel even more comfortable for your next runs.

ADDICT ALERT

Sorry, no hope for you now.

Don't be tempted to run consecutive days, you need a lot more strength and experience before you do that.

Well done both.

I think it’s the early signs of addiction 🤣 I find myself thinking about my next run all the time! No hope for us!😜

sounds as though you'll be needing to attend the runaholics meetings, lots on here can direct you lol

So when we attend the meetings, we say Hello my name is X, and I'm a runaholic. I like lycra, trainers (especially bright ones) and I keep repeating this mantra slow and steady....

We are a nice bunch, and our numbers seem to be growing..., oops just added another one

I know what you mean...my husband and I are on w3 r2 and we haven't been avoiding hills but tbh they are a killer so we have been trying to rearrange our route so the run part doesn't coincide with the hill ( not working) 😳 Oh well we will continue ... I would say we do look forward to the run but anxious at the same time....if that makes sense....I have just bought us both a pair of running shoes as my husband is nursing knee and back pain, hoping this will help after posts I have read 😊
