I, like many others on here, thought at w1r1 that I would struggle when stepping up the run times... and at some point I'm still sure I will. But for now I'm a little surprised and hugely happy with my progress so far. It just goes to show what a small amount of talent and large amounts of enthusiasm & determination can do..... I'm now beginning to believe in myself too....not just that I'll be able to achieve a non stop 5k run, but that I might not look like I need emergency services calling when I've finished!

That’s good progress. The plan gets the body in shape, most of the challenge for us is mental. That growing belief will serve you well. Great job so far.
The plan works well. Some of the runs might seem a bit odd in that you'll find yourself in later weeks doing something like a 20 minute run and then the next one will be 2 lots of 10 minutes. It's similar to interval training.
I can remember those early weeks clearly, getting in from the run with sore legs and then hardly being able to stand up after having a rest. You will be amazed at the progress you will make over the coming weeks
Just go slowly and you’ll be fine. No hurry, no need to push. Just finish the session 💪😃👍
Fingers crossed I will get a similar experience to you when I get to Week3
Wow Katnap, I've never even heard of exertional rhabdomyolysis, it doesn't nice at all, and you're well advised to go too far, too fast. I really hope that this c25k helps & I'm glad you have some company on your runs. Best of luck to you. I look forward to seeing & hearing about your progress
