Does anyone else use Strava?

Does anyone else use Strava?

I’ve been using Strava to track my runs since week 3 and it’s been so interesting to see my pace/personal bests once I’ve finished the runs. My favourite part about getting in the door is to see if I’ve set any new records! Does anyone else use Strava? I would love to follow you if you do! It could be fun to keep each other accountable.

Hi! I’m the same! I love looking at my stats in a very casual way but it shows how much my fitness has improved when I compare stats. Plus I study my route in detail as if I’d never seen it before and bore my husband with it too!! Feel free to follow me too. I’m Sara Cartwright (red top in pic) 😀

Yes, I use Strava!! And like you, when I finish a ‘run’ I can’t wait to see how it compares to previous efforts. I’m trying not to concentrate on pace as I’m only just about to start Week 3 but it’s very interesting!

There's a C25K group on strava many of us use too.

Another user of Strava here, as others have said it’s great for comparing stats, I started using it with my bike and then for the c25k which I will be starting again shortly. Well worth a try.

If I go some special for a trip or holiday I use sportstracker.com, but for training I use the fitness thing on my apple watch. Daughter uses strava and loves it, but she doesn’t have any apple stuff.

Interesting - I'm currently using the Strava app on my Apple Watch, which means I get the social stuff and analytics from Strava, and it also auto updates the Apple Activity app.

I love strava, keeps me accountable and I get added support from my running friend plus it’s connected to my fitbit and my fitness pal.

It used to be a little bit discouraging when I’d see I’m the slowest out of the 186 runners to do my route but I just don’t bother looking at that anymore ha

Another Strava user here, use it mainly to give my super-fit younger sisters a laugh at my snail-like running :)

I use Strava too.

Do you guys pause it when you're walking and re-start when you start running?

I counted my walks along with my runs until week 7 when I stopped recording the warm up/cool down walks.
