Hey Peet! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Welcome back. You did the right thing. Now that you’re getting back out there the guidance is still the same! Go very slowly and if it’s possible go slower. It’s still very hot from very early, so bear that in mind too. I’m sure you can use W8 as post recovery runs, I would just aim purposefully to go slower. Let us know how you get on!! You can do it!! 😁❤️
Thanks hun. Yes I think I will need to be slow and careful. To be honest we actually trying for another brat sorry meant baby, had a pregnancy scare but flase alarm. Part of me was concerned that do I carry on running altogether and then half off me was so gutted that there could have been a chance I wouldn’t have been able to complete. My opinion now is to carry on what I’m doing and let’s see what happens. X
Carry on Peet! Just be gentle and don’t push too hard. Only do what comes naturally! You’re body is smarter than you think. Good luck with everything!! 😉❤️
I graduated then had a month off following an op. I waited until I felt ready and have now done 2 runs. Up to 2.5k, walked 1/2km then ran the rest...but all slowly. I haven't lost my aerobic fitness, but can see my stamina has tailed off. I guess we just have to build back gradually? Good luck!
Fab stuff!!! Well done you! I’ve had a good week too. I’ve completed wk8 and now onto graduation week!!! Wow can’t believe saying that!
Though think I did over do it as for my wk8 r3 I decided to do against a 5k parkrun. At 30 min I still hadn’t completed the 5k so I carried on running a further 12min until I finished!!! Boy I’m still aching!!! 😏😳
