W4R1 *HAPPY DANCE*!!!

I just got back from first run of W4. Had myself so anxious prior I put it off till evening! It was hard but doable!! So proud of myself!! Didn't walk, took advice from here and just took it slow and steady and tried not to think of how much time was left and you know what? Once I got past the first 3 min run (which turned out the toughest!) I found the rest, not exactly easy, but definitely not unbearable! This from a fat 44 yo!! Don't think it would have been good look for those watching as I don't feel.like a gazelle running, more like a wombat!! But to think where I am today when a mere 4 weeks ago I puffed rolling over in bed to reach for more chips!! Yay for me!! Love this program! Now on to run 2 in 2 days! Does anyone else find the second run the hardest each week? I am finding that...

I’m starting week 4 on Monday and nervous as hell about the increase in running time

I was nearly sick with nerves (silly I know!) going into this run. It seemed such a big step. It wasn't as bad as expected. The program really does work. Never thought I'd get to 5 min running!! You will be the same. Slowly does it. Don't over think it (easy to say retrospectively!). Good luck Monday!!!
