Really thought I was going to be running in the rain this morning, as it was lashing at the window at 5.15am (yes I know, eurgh, early) but by the time we got to the beach, the rain had cleared but blimey it was chilly - exceptionally glad I wore long sleeves!
I didn't realise until post-run, but today marked the last "interval" run of my C25K journey - from now on it's continuous running all the way - eep!
Today went well though, after feeling really good about W6R1, I didn't want to be over confident, and continued on with my slow and steady pace, but I think I'm starting to properly "run", rather than "shuffle"!
All the way through, I wasn't sure if I was going to up my pace again for the last 60 seconds, but I did and it felt amazing that my body's letting me do it!
I know I've said this before, but looking back to the first run, I wasn't 100% sure that I'd ever kind of enjoy it but I'm definitely moving in that direction and although I do go out extremely early to fit the runs in, I actually do drag myself out of bed - the sense of pride is growing!!!
