Not my best- went out today and it’s a little windy. Now it’s surprising how a little wind can seem like a hurricane when your running against it. I was relieved the second half of my course when the wind was behind me, I think that’s what actually got me to the end. Imagine what full blown winter winds will be like if I thought this was tough! Feels good to have done it though knowing the end is creeping up now

Hi Run1980, I did W6 R1 earlier this morning and my route is along a coastal path and I had the wind against me on way back, thankfully no where near as windy as yesterday and no rain! Keep up the good work. Hatter

Hi hatter your like my virtual running buddy now. Well done to you, bet it’s much windier on a coastal path. Have to say I relieved when I looked out the window and yesterday’s rain was gone. I don’t mind running in the rain but yesterday was bad. Look forward to hearing how your next run goes, keep up the good work. 😁👍🏻

I find it helps to have contact with someone who's at the same stage as I am with C25K. I'm very lucky where I live as the beach is less than a minute away and if I turn right there's a path for about 7 miles along the beach and if I turn left the path goes for about 4 miles to the river entrance but you can then cut through the footpath alongside the roads and then follow the river path for at least 7 miles and possibly more, the downside is the almost constant wind blowing down here on the South coast.

Sounds like a beautiful place to live. Once I go back to work next week I will have to do my runs when I finish at 4 so I’m hoping I can still do it as well after a full day but on the plus there is a gorgeous big park over the road from work so I can go back to running there instead of all the streets

Good morning hatter, great work braving the weather. Hope the run goes well. I’ve got to do mine a bit later today as my son starts his transition days at secondary school. It will be interesting to see how I cope at a different time.

It's was wet and windy but I have to say I did enjoy it and hopefully ready for the 25 minutes non stop run on Friday. I'm definitely a morning person I think if I left my running till later in the day I might find reasons not to do it. Don't know if I'm ready for 3 X 25 minutes next week tho! Hope it all goes well for your Son today.

Well done to you! You are definitely ready for the 3 25min runs. If you can enjoy it whilst battling wind and rain then nothing will stop you 😜
