Legs!

So on Monday I did R2W2 and am due to do R2 tomorrow morning straight after nightshift. Problem is my shins/calves are really aching and hurt to touch. Also suffering with vertigo at the minute and on antibiotics for chest infection.

I really want to continue as I know I can do this but right this minute the thought of doing it dreads me 😭.

I know I need to get footwear suitable for me which I plan to do at the weekend hopefully.

Should I just run anyway and hope the legs feel better when I do ?

Also I've ran on some uneven and stony surfaces in the woods so thinking that was a stupid idea 🤔

Oh no. Not sure I'm qualified to give advice, but I've had vertigo, had Labrynthitis and it was absolutely awful couldn't even get off the settee. Take care and listen to your body. The runs will get done in time.

If you have a chest infection then you should stop running until cleared up, the rule is anything neck upwards like runny nose go anything below the neck including sore throat no go.. so restup get your new shoes and hopefully you'll be feeling better, and maybe devise an easier route to do c25k..😊

Thanks hun. I've tried a different route each time to see what suits. I'll probably leave it until Monday and let antibiotics kick in x

I also have a really achey shin but just my left one. I'm not sure if it's just my legs getting used to the exercise or if I've perhaps got a lopsided gait but I don't want to spend a fortune on trainers and I think its probably the former reason really. Can anyone advise. Hope you feel better soon Stellie but you shouldn't run if you're not well. Get resting.
