Week 3

Just back in from my first Week 3 run, and I didn’t half find it hard. My legs seem to cope OK, but by the end of the last 3 minute run I just couldn’t sort out my breathing. I must’ve sounded like I was about to expire to people I was running around!

Anyone got any advice? After all of the Week 1 and Week 3 runs I had an ‘I can do it!’ feeling, but suddenly I’m a bit worried about having to do this run again...

Do you listen to music? I find that really helps me forget about my breathing as I can’t hear it! If I am struggling I find deep breaths in through the nose and out of the mouth really help. Good luck.

Thanks - I do listen to music, think I might just need to stop thinking about the breathing as much. Or get bigger lungs! 😂

😂 You might’ve find that you focus on it less as the weeks pass. I worried about everything to start with but in W6 now and it feels a bit more natural (still a challenge though!).
