Looked out the window this morning and was greeted with light rain, undeterred put my gear on to do my run. Felt good today breathing was easier, finished the run with the cool down walk uphill, not sure if that is a good idea, any thoughts? Got home, soaked but happy that I had completed, couple of days rest now. 🙂

Well done for going out regardless of the weather - that's a sure way of feeling better about your commitment! There's something truly liberating about running in weather you'd normally wrap-up or only drive in!

If you're not suffering from any lower leg or knee pain then walking (or running) up hill is fine but, if you are, going up hill will aggravate the pain as the pressure on the tibia (shin) is far greater.

Your own body will be the best guide to what works for you.

:-)

Thanks, I think I will do the uphill once a week rather than every time. It was really nice out this morning and certainly feeling more energised now.
